    • PURPOSE: A device for controlling pressure is provided to improve accuracy of controlling a frictional coupling element, in control region which has low transmit torque capacity of the frictional coupling element. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling pressure comprises a goal tightening fluid pressure calculating means, a slip controlling means, an instruction current outputting means, a fluid pressure decreasing means, and a correcting means. The goal tightening fluid pressure calculating means calculates a goal coupling fluid pressure of a frictional coupling element. The slip controlling means increase rotating per minute of the frictional coupling element higher than the rotating per minute of a driving wheel of the frictional coupling element. The indicated current outputting means outputs the instruction current to a solenoid valve. The solenoid valve controls fluid pressure supplied to the frictional coupling element. The fluid pressure decreasing means decrease the fluid pressure of the frictional coupling element in case vehicle speed is judged to vehicle stop during controlling slip. The correcting means corrects the change amount of the instruction current lower than the change amount of goal coupling fluid pressure.
