    • PURPOSE: A process of preparing a seaweed gel product(cheonsachae, Korean native name) by adding a sodium alginate-containing beverage solution into a mixed solution for coagulation is provided, thereby producing a liquid and powdery beverage composition. CONSTITUTION: A mixture of 1.5 to 2.7 parts by weight of sodium alginate, 0.008 to 0.03 parts by weight of a sweetening agent, 0.008 to 0.6 parts by weight of an acidulant and 0.3 to 0.7 parts by weight of a seasoning material is added with 100 parts by weight of drinking water at temperature higher than 80 deg.C to produce a sodium alginate-containing beverage solution, which is flowed into a mixed solution for coagulation comprising 100 parts by weight of drinking water at ordinary temperature, 0.5 to 1.5 parts by weight of potassium chloride and 0.1 to 0.4 parts by weight of alum to coagulate into a shape of noodle strings.

    • PURPOSE: An adsorbent is provided to contact directly with food and the like or dosed directly to a digestive system, whereby it is possible to highly efficiently adsorb and remove food additives, fodder additives, pesticides, substances causing sitotoxism, allergen, heavy metals or highly toxic organic compounds and the like which adhere to or are contained in food and the like or which are existent in a digestive system, surplus nutrients existent in a digestive system, oligomer and additives contained in liquors, intermediate metabolic substances of alcohol generated in a digestive system after taking of spirits, harmful substances such as hydroperoxide of unsaturated fatty acid in fats and oils, and odor ingredient such as fish odor. CONSTITUTION: An adsorbent is provided by performing freezing treatment after covering an adsorbent body such as activated charcoal with a gel like substance such as bivalent metallic salts of high molecular polycarboxylic acid, bean curd, jelly, konnyaku, agar, perilla, gelidium jelly and chitosan oxalate gel, or removing a frost damage preventive substance such as glycerol after covering the adsorbent body with the above gel like substance which contains the frost damage preventive substance.
