    • The object of the present invention is to provide an inventive exhaust system (6) for receiving an exhaust gas. The exhaust system (6) comprising a first SCR catalyst (10) and a second SCR catalyst (16) positioned downstream of said first SCR catalyst (10). A first injector (44) is provided upstream of said first SCR catalyst (10), and a second injector (64) is provided upstream of said second SCR catalyst (16). The exhaust system (6) further comprising a gaseous ammonia supply device (40) being fluidly connected to said first injector (44) for supplying gaseous ammonia to said exhaust gas by said first injector (44), and an ammonia-containing reductant reservoir (60) being fluidly connected to said second injector (64) for supplying a fluid ammonia- containing reductant, such as urea, to said exhaust gas by said second injector (64). The first SCR catalyst (10) having a smaller volume than said second SCR catalyst (16) for a fast warm-up of said first SCR catalyst (10).

    • The invention relates to an apparatus for controlling valve movements in an internal combustion engine which has at least one inlet valve (12) and at least one exhaust valve for controlling the connection between the combustion chamber in the cylinder and an inlet system and an exhaust system respectively. A rotatable camshaft which has a cam curve comprising a rising ramp (10a) and a falling ramp (10b) is designed to interact with a valve mechanism (14) for actuation of the inlet or exhaust valve (12) under the action of a valve spring (13). The valve mechanism (14) comprises control members (21-25, 26) which allow the return movement of the valve mechanism to be controlled during the closing phase of the inlet valve (12) or the exhaust valve, independently of the falling ramp (10b) of the cam curve. The control members (21-25, 26) are arranged so that the closing of the valve can be delayed for an adjustable period of time by means of a hydraulically adjustable force counteracting the closing force of the valve spring.

    • The fuel injection system according to the invention comprises a nozzle (2) with an inlet and a needle (15). A control piston (16) forms a control chamber (17) and abuts the needle such that a higher pressure in the control chamber urges the piston to close the nozzle. A cam-driven plunger (5) forms a plunger chamber (7) connected to the inlet of the nozzle.
