    • The invention refers to a mixing and/or reconstitution system which reduces the possibility of user error and provides an easy and automatic operation comprising -a device(300, 400) containing a first material within a first chamber (305, 405), further comprising a housing (301, 401) and a plunger (307, 407), -a vial (308, 408) containing a second material within a second chamber (309, 409), wherein at least one of the first material and the second material is a fluid, -a base station (350, 450) comprising at least one drive unit (370, 470), a first slide (374) and a driver, and -a needle (302, 402), wherein the device (300, 400) and the vial (308, 408) are attachable to the base station in an initial position in which the device (300, 400) and the vial (308, 408) have a pre-defined distance to each other, wherein the needle (302, 402) is attached to the device (300, 400) and fluidly connected with the first chamber (305, 405) of the device (300, 400), wherein in the initial position the at least one drive unit (370, 470) is connected to the first slide (374) that moves the vial (308, 408) and/or the housing (301, 401) of the device (300, 400) relative to each other in an axial direction of the device (300, 400) along a pre-defined distance into an activated position, in which the needle (302, 402) is fluidly connected with the second chamber (309, 409) and wherein in the activated position the at least one drive unit (370, 470) is connected to the driver that moves the plunger (307, 407) in the axial direction of the device (300, 400) along a pre- defined distance such that during fluid connection of the needle (302, 402) with the second chamber (309, 409) the first material is expelled from the first chamber (305, 405) of the device into the second chamber (309, 409) of the vial (308, 408) or the second material is expelled from the second chamber (309, 409) of the vial (308, 408) into the first chamber (305, 405) of the device (300, 400). The invention further refers to a base station thereto, a supporting unit and a respective mixing and/or reconstitution method.

    • The present invention relates to a cushion element (14) for a patient interface (10) for providing a flow of breathable gas to a patient (12), wherein the cushion element (14) comprises a face-contacting layer (32) for contacting a face of the patient (12) during use of the cushion element (14); and a multi-layer responsive structure (34) which is covered by the face-contacting layer (32). The responsive structure (34) comprises a plurality of actuators (38, 40) for moving the face-contacting layer (32), wherein said plurality of actuators (38, 40) comprises first actuators (38) belonging to a first group of actuators and second actuators (40) belonging to a second group of actuators. Each of the first and the second actuators (38, 40) comprises an electrode (44, 46). The electrodes (44) of the first actuators (38) are arranged in one or more first layers (50), and wherein the electrodes (46) of the second actuators (40) are arranged in one or more second layers (52), wherein the one or more first and second layers (50, 52) are arranged above each other. The electrodes (44) of the first actuators (38) are, with respect to a first axis (42) transverse to the one or more first and second layers (50, 52), arranged spatially offset relative to the electrodes (46) of the second actuators (40) such that the electrodes (44) of the first actuators (38) do not overlap the electrodes (46) of the second actuators (40) when being viewed along the first axis (42).
