    • PURPOSE: A brake control system and a method thereof are provided to perform a brake function regardless of the power remaining in a battery when a vehicle is slipping even though a hand brake is operated incompletely. CONSTITUTION: A brake method thereof for a parked vehicle is as follows: When a predetermined vehicle parking condition is satisfied and a hand brake(10) is in a braked state, a predetermined vehicle slip is detected based on vehicle information. When the vehicle slip is detected, braking is performed through a vehicle position control function. When the remaining power in a battery is lower than a predetermined critical remaining value while performing braking, the battery is charged.
