    • The invention concerns a structure for a motor vehicle front end assembly, comprising a mini-cradle (1) whereon is mounted a suspension arm (3) for each wheel of said front end assembly, said suspension arm (3) being of the type having the shape of a boomerang whereof one of the ends, called supporting end (E) of a rotating part is designed to be coupled to a wheel, the other end, called front articulation (A), and the median part of the arm, called rear articulation (B), being designed to be coupled to said mini-cradle (1), said mini-cradle (1) having a body on either side of which extend towards the vehicle front two side cant rails (15) designed each to be coupled by screwing to a side member (5) of said vehicle. The invention is characterized in that each of said cant rails (15) has means for being coupled (6) to said side member (5) in a zone located forward, relative to the longitudinal axis of said vehicle, of said point A of said suspension arm (3), said coupling means (6) including at least one hollow body allowing through screwing means (2) to couple said cant rail (15) with said side member (5).

    • PURPOSE: A front suspension using a steering gear frame is provided to cut down manufacturing cost by using the front suspension for various kinds of vehicles with replacing a vehicle body mount connector and a control arm mount connector, and to enlarge the space of the engine room by reducing volume. CONSTITUTION: A front suspension comprises a steering gear frame(2) integrally forming front and rear fixing plates(8,10) connected to a power cylinder(4); a control arm mount connector(18) arranged longitudinally in the lower part of the fixing plate; a lower control arm(38) connected to the front and rear ends of the control arm mount connector and a vehicle body connection part; a wheel carrier connected to the wheel end of the lower control arm to rotate and support the wheel, and connected to a tie rod; and a buffer unit absorbing vertical vibration of the wheel. Fixing holes(34,36) are formed in the center of the control arm mount connector corresponding to assembling holes(12,14), and fixing parts(40,42) are formed in the front and rear parts of the control arm mount connector to mount the control arm of the suspension.
