摘要： A diesel truck has a fuel tank (1), and an exhaust system (2) with a first silencer (3) incorporating a hydrolysis catalytic converter (4) and an oxidation catalytic converter (5). The hydrolysis unit is operated in conjunction with a dosed feed of dilute urea from a urea tank (9). The dilute urea tank (9), silencer (3) and main fuel tank (1) form a single aggregate structure (10) attached to the vehicle chassis. The exhaust system further incorporates a main silencer unit. The single aggregate structure (10) is of modular design and takes the place of one prior art 900 liter modular fuel tank on the vehicle chassis. The unit (10) fuel capacity is 30-40% less than that of a prior art fuel tank.

The exhaust chamber 1120 is disposed below the shock absorber 1070 and below the swing arm 1060.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply arrange an exhaust valve and a catalyst without providing a special space.
SOLUTION: A muffler 6 of a generally triangular shape in side view is provided and the interior thereof is partitioned into first to third expansion chambers 23-25. A manifold pipe 5 is connected to the second expansion chamber 24 as a middle chamber sideways from a lower portion of the same chamber and is accommodated therein so as to face upward. A catalyst is accommodated in the interior of the manifold pipe 5 and exhaust gas flowing out from an open end 5a of the manifold pipe is expanded into the second expansion chamber 24. A short-circuiting aperture 30 is formed in a second separator 22 and is opened and closed with an exhaust valve installed within the adjacent third expansion chamber 25. The exhaust valve is normally closed, and is urged in its closing direction by spring means. When the exhaust pressure becomes a predetermined magnitude, the exhaust valve opens automatically, allowing the exhaust gas to flow out into the third expansion chamber 25 through the short-circuiting aperture 30, thereby controlling the exhaust pressure.

SOLUTION: The exhaust gas purifier includes a plurality of catalytic converters, and a front supply pipe and a back supply pipe for supplying secondary air, installed between an engine exhaust pipe and a muffler. The front supply pipe connects with the exhaust side of the engine or an exhaust pipe at the front of the muffler, and the back supply pipe connects with connecting piping inside the muffler. Further, at least two catalytic converters are inside the muffler, and are installed between the front supply pipe and the back supply pipe. The catalytic converters are configured of one front catalytic converter for oxidation and at least one middle catalytic converter for oxygen reduction. At least one back catalytic converter is arranged inside the muffler and in the rear of the back supply pipe for supplying secondary air. Thereby, this exhaust gas purifier fulfills the role for realizing double effects of highly efficient oxidation of hazardous exhaust gas by a catalytic process and oxygen reduction.

The combination exhaust gas port treatment/muffler device comprises muffler spatially delimited by front end wall, rear end wall, and peripheral outer wall, and provided with an inlet tube for receiving exhaust gas that is to undergo post treatment; preliminary oxidation catalytic converter disposed in interior of the muffler and increases an amount of nitrogen dioxide in exhaust gas flowing through the muffler; and particle separator disposed in the interior of the muffler, in which after flowing through the catalytic converter and the particle separator, exhaust gas, in a clean and indirectly muffler state, is adapted to be conveyed out of the muffler. A free exhaust gas inlet surface of the catalytic converter is smaller than that of the particle separator. An aspect ratio of the catalytic converter is 0.4-0.6, and that of the particle separator is 0.5-1. A volume of the catalytic converter is 2.5-4 l and that of the particle separator is 5.5-22 l, their volume ratio is 0.15-0.55, and the ratio of their aspect ratio is 1.05-2.2. At a minimum exhaust gas volume of flow, a channel velocity in the catalytic converter is greater than 8 m/s and in the particle separator is greater than 5 m/s. A maximum exhaust gas volume flow is delimited by a maximum permissible pressure loss, and a maximum permissible exhaust gas counter pressure with respect to a functionality of the internal combustion engine supplying exhaust gas.
