    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust device for a vehicle that can be easily constituted at low cost, can reduce pressure loss due to exhaust resistance, and can easily drain and remove water to outside an exhaust pipe.SOLUTION: An upper part of an exhaust pipe 11 comprises a vertical exhaust pipe part 14A on the side of an engine 2 and a bent exhaust pipe part 14B connected thereto tilting from an upper end of the vertical exhaust pipe part backward and upward, and a backward exhaust port 15 is formed in the bent exhaust pipe part. A cylindrical member 21 is fitted around the bent exhaust pipe part with a gap S interposed, and a return part 28 is formed inward from an external end edge 27a of the cylindrical member. The return part is located outside the backward exhaust port, and an upper-end opening part 31 formed of its inner edge part is formed in a similar shape smaller than the backward exhaust port. Since no other body is present as exhaust resistance on an inner surface of the exhaust pipe, exhaust gas can be discharged powerfully in a pressure loss reduced state. The majority of drops of water come into contact with the return part and can be prevented from scattering from an upper-end opening part, and the drops of water fall along an external surface of the exhaust pipe, so that water can be easily drained to outside the exhaust pipe and removed.
