摘要： A shift device for an automatic transmission of a vehicle, particularly of a motor vehicle, is proposed in which the request to change the current ratio of the automatic transmission upon reaching preset operating states of the vehicle can be automatically generated or by manual input in a manual shifting mode. A pulse counter is here provided by way of successive pulses and manual input can be functionally interlinked wherein a shift signal can be generated depending on the linkage.

摘要： A manual gearshift device (9, 23, 25) for an automotive automatic transmission operative in an automatic shift mode in which a gear ratio is automatically varied according to driving conditions and a manual mode in which a gear ratio is manually changed is disclosed. The manual gear shift device (9, 23, 25), that is installed to spokes (6, 7) of a steering wheel (5) extending in substantially diametrically opposite directions, comprises a first gearshift switch (23) which is installed to one of the spokes (6, 7) at an obverse side of the steering wheel (5) and provides a shift-up command signal and a second gearshift switch (25), desirably different in shape from the first gearshift switch (25), which is installed to one of the spokes (6, 7) at a reverse side of the steering wheel (5) and provides a shift-up command signal.

Upon selection of a shift mode from the automatic shift mode to the manual shift mode, the shift range at the manual shift mode is selected in accordance with the vehicle speed detected at the automatic shift mode. SOLUTION: A grip of a gear shift lever 18 is provided with: the first switch- type shift operating unit 35 for causing the first main transmission with two gear stages, that is, high and low gear stages to upshift or downshift; and the second shift operating unit 36 for causing a main shift pattern constructed by coordination between the first main transmission and the second main transmission 43 with three or more gear stages to upshift or downshift. When the second shift operating unit 36 stays on for more than a given period of time with the vehicle not traveling, the coordinated main shift pattern automatically upshifts or downshifts on a one-by-one basis from the present position after every lapse of a specified time.
