When the opening state detection means detects that the lock mechanism continues to stay in any one of the open state for a prescribed period of time, the half-latched state, and the full-latched state, during operation of the electronic control unit in the microcomputer normal power mode, the electronic control unit is transferred from the microcomputer normal power mode to the microcomputer power saving mode and operates.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid lock device for a vehicle, which allows an operating traction member for drawing back a moving component in emergency to have improved mountability to the vehicle.SOLUTION: In a lid lock device 1, an actuated electric motor 3 rotates a warm wheel 5 so that a lock shaft 6 is advanced or retarded in relation to a housing 2, resulting in the engagement or disengagement with a lid disposed to a vehicle body. The rear end of the lock shaft 6 is connected to an emergency tool 7 integrally formed of a synthetic resin material. An insertion part 66 formed on the lock shaft 6 is inserted in an assembly hole 711 of a shaft engaging part 71, and the emergency tool 7 is then drawn backward so that the insertion part 66 is moved into a slide hole 712 while a partition piece 713 is deflected. Consequently, the emergency tool 7 and the lock shaft 6 are connected. In the case that the lock shaft 6 cannot be returned back by the electric motor 3, an operator pulls the emergency tool 7 for traction of the lock shaft 6.
