    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model simplification method in model base development for simplifying a model base mounted on a vehicle ECU without reducing calculation accuracy so much. SOLUTION: One of a plurality of integration values obtained by integrating, in the respective engine acceleration pattern, a variation amount absolute value of a plurality of values calculated in every partial models M1, M2, M3, M4 of the whole partial model base relative to a predetermined engine acceleration pattern and a variation amount absolute value of the product of at least two values of the plurality of values is made to a determination value in the partial model.
