    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize cooling air circulated by a fan 31 for heat exchange in a cooling device for a vehicle in which a part of the fan 31 is positioned at a position out of a projection plane of a radiator core 11 when seeing from a front side of the vehicle.
      SOLUTION: A capacitor core 21 is arranged at a front side of the fan 31 positioned at a position out of the projection plane of the radiator core 11 and a shroud 4 is extended to a capacitor core 21 side than the radiator core 11. Thereby, even if the part of the fan 31 is positioned at a position out of the projection plane of the radiator core 11, since the cooling air circulated by the fan 31 is passed through at least one of the capacitor core 21 and the radiator core 11, the cooling air circulated by the fan 31 is effectively utilized for heat exchange.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front end structure of a vehicle capable of enhancing the safety in collision by absorbing the impact force at collision sufficiently.
      SOLUTION: The head structure of the vehicle is configured so that the fixation part of a front end panel 10 with a side member 20 is positioned approximately identical to the part where a sub-frame 21 is installed when viewed in the direction fore and aft of the vehicle. Thereby that part of the side member 20 covering approximately the whole area behind the fixation part of the side member 20 with the sub-frame 21, is allowed to function as a clashable zone. This allows the part functioning as the clashable zone to be longer than conventional, the side member 20 makes deformation in buckling into the form of bellows at the time of collision. Accordingly the total deformation amount becomes greater compared with the case in which the side member 20 makes deformation in such a way as folding, and the impact force at collision can be absorbed sufficiently, and it is possible to enhance the safety in collision by absorbing the impact force at collision sufficiently.

      SOLUTION: A crevice size X of a stopper 311b and a side plate 130 is made smaller than a crevice size Y of parts (a simple flange 311c) other than the stopper 311b in the flange part 311 and a core 110. Therefore, the stopper 311b collides with the side plate 130, so as not to relatively displace other parts (the simple flange 311c). A core 110 (especially a tube 111) can be prevented from being damaged, without securing an enough crevice between a shroud 310 and radiator 100 (the core 110).

      SOLUTION: While fixing a hood lock 300 to a center brace 440, the hood lock 300 is coupled to a bumper 500 fixed to a vehicle body via a wire 310 made of a material having tensile strength and tenacity higher than those of a panel 400. Since the hook lock 300 is fixed to the vehicle body and connected to a material having tenacity higher than the panel 400 among other materials, the hood lock 300 itself can be prevented from floating even if the center brace 440 is broken when collided. Therefore, as far as the locking of the hood lock is not released, an engine hook can be prevented from opening. Thus, since the engine hood can be plastically deformed so as to be crushed when collided, the shock of the collision can be absorbed by the engine hood.
