    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce switching frequency to a supercharging area requiring increased fuel supply, improving fuel consumption.
      SOLUTION: This controller is provided with a continuously variable transmission, which continuously changes output rotation of an internal combustion engine for transmitting it to a drive wheel, and a supercharger using emission energy for performing supercharging. When a boost pressure is within a predetermined cooperative boost area II (step S11) and an accelerator opening change rate ΔAPO is less than a predetermined value a (step S13), control is carried out for maintaining the boost pressure within the cooperative boost area II (step A19) while controlling the gear ratio to a low-speed side (steps A16-18).
