    • A metal paste comprises an organic or inorganic compound of metals of the Groups 3 to 15 of the Periodic Table which are solid at a normal temperature and an amino compound as a medium, and this metal paste has a viscosity capable of being applied. When this metal paste is used, films of various metals and their alloys can be easily formed, by using an industrially simple process and apparatus, to not only a ceramic substrate but also various general-purpose, economical substrates such as glass, plastics, film, etc., having a low softening point. Particularly, a metal film can be easily formed at a normal pressure on a printed wiring board or a substrate to be metal coated having a low heat resistance.
