    • A bearing device for a wheel, in which circumferential play is minimized and in which a hub ring and an outer joint member of a constant velocity universal joint can be connected with excellent workability. Axially extending projections (35) are formed on either one of the outer diameter surface of a shaft (12) of the outer joint member and the inner diameter surface (37) of a hole (11) of the hub ring (1), and the projections (35) are axially press fitted into the other. Recesses (36) fitted in an intimate contact manner onto the projections (35) are formed in the other. Thus, a recess/projection fitting structure (M) is formed. In the structure (M), the entire fitting/contact portions (38) of the projections (35) and the recesses (36) are in intimate contact with each other. Further, a shaft come-out prevention structure (M1) is provided between the shaft (12) of the outer joint member and the inner diameter surface of the hub ring (1).
