    • PURPOSE: A learning control method of an automatic transmission for a vehicle is provided to improve the traveling experience by preventing the occurrence of tie-up through the minimum over-run. CONSTITUTION: A kick-down shift command is outputted(S100). A TCU(Transmission Control Unit) detects an engine rpm and a turbine rpm(S110). The TCU outputs an over-run(S120). The over-run degree is compared to a reference value(S130). If the over-run degree is over the reference value, a compensating hydraulic pressure is calculated by adding a learning compensation value to a basic map value(S140). Otherwise, a compensating hydraulic pressure is calculated by subtracting the learning compensation value from the basic map value(S150).

    • PURPOSE: A gearshift control method estimates piston stroke clearance based on integrated value of flow given to frictional elements of the engaging side during the preceding upshift and includes compensation value proportional to the piston stroke estimated on downshift during upshift to the downshift engaging side to execute stable gearshift control on downshift control. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the four steps. The first step(S110, S120) is output duty control signal to control gearshift stage to upshift to N+1 stage when N+1 speed upshift signal is impressed during driving on the N speed. The second step(S130) is to estimate the stroke clearance of elements of engaging side. The third step(S140) is to determine whether N speed kick down shift signal is inputted. The fourth step(S170) is to output N speed kick down shift gearshift control duty signal when the kick down shift signal is inputted.

A first shift control unit executes a hydraulic command for the first frictional element to be released, and executes a hydraulic command for the second frictional element to be engaged in a first shift process. A second shift control unit executes a hydraulic command for the first frictional element to be engaged, and executes a hydraulic command for the third frictional element to be released in the second shift process. A decision unit decides a shifting state from the first shift range to the third shift range on the basis of an operational condition of a vehicle. A third shift control unit performs the first shift process when the shifting state is decided by the decision unit, and performs a second shift process when a gear ratio reaches a first gear ratio, or when a parameter reaches a parameter corresponding to the first gear ratio. The third shift control unit compares two commands with each other, selects one of the commands according to the compared result, and outputs the selected command to the first frictional element.
