    • PURPOSE: A welding structure of CTBA and a welding method thereof are provided to reduce the concentration of stress in a welding part of a tubular beam and a trailing arm by performing welding which connects the tubular beam and the trailing arm by dividing a connection part into a lower part and an upper part. CONSTITUTION: A welding structure of CTBA comprises a tubular beam(11), a first welding line(L1), and a second welding line(L2). An end of the tubular beam is connected to one side of a trailing arm(12). The first welding line is formed by being welded along an upper part of a welding part. The second welding line is formed by being welded along the upper part of the welding part. Circumference of a connection part of the tubular beam and the trailing arm is welded by the first welding line and the second welding line. A part which is adjacent to the end of the first welding line and a part which is adjacent to the end of the second welding line are crossed.

    • PURPOSE: A non-welding strut for a Mcpherson suspension is provided to reduce the number of parts for a shock absorber by integrating a spring seat and a shock absorber cap into a single part. CONSTITUTION: A non-welding strut for a Mcpherson suspension includes a shock absorber, an insulator assembly, a connecting tube, and a cap type spring seat. The shock absorber(1) is connected to a knuckle part of a vehicle wheel by a cylinder. The insulator assembly(4) joints a cylinder rod(2) drawn out from the shock absorber to a vehicle body. The connecting tube(7) is integrally formed on the lower spring seat supporting the bottom of a spring, with a height to surround an outer case(3) of the shock absorber. The cap type spring seat(5) includes a cap(8) formed on the connecting tube to surround the upper part of the outer case of the shock absorber.

    • A suspension apparatus using a coupled torsion beam axle is provided to improve durability of the coupled torsion beam axle by allowing one side of a spring seat to make contact with an inner surface of a torsion beam. A suspension apparatus using a coupled torsion beam axle comprises trailing arms(100) installed at left and right sides of a vehicle. A torsion beam(300) is interposed between the trailing arms(100). Left and right end parts of the torsion beam, which is twisted in one direction, are fused on the trailing arms. The torsion beam has a triangular sectional shape in which one side thereof is open. One side of a spring seat(200) makes contact with and is fused on one inner side of the torsion beam. One side of the spring seat is fused on the trailing arm.
