    • The present invention relates to a system and a method for supplying fuel gas for a ship, which are capable of supplying fuel gas in response to a methane number required by an engine which can compress and vaporize liquefied natural gas (LNG), and can receive the LNG to use as fuel. According to the present invention, a system for supplying fuel gas for a ship and a method for supplying fuel gas using the system are provided. The system for supplying fuel gas for a ship comprises a storage tank which stores LNG, and an engine which receives the LNG stored in the storage tank to use as fuel. More specifically, the system includes: a compressor line which compresses BOG generated in the storage tank by a compressor and supplies the BOG as fuel to the engine; a high-pressure pump line which compresses LNG contained in the storage tank by a high-pressure pump and supplies the LNG as fuel to the engine; an expansion valve which is provided on the high-pressure pump line to decompress the LNG compressed by the high-pressure pump up to pressure required by the engine; and a vapor-liquid separator which is provided on the high-pressure pump line to adjust a methane number of LNG to a value required by the engine by separating hydrocarbon components from the LNG decompressed through the expansion valve.

    • PURPOSE: A system and method for controlling the fuel of a dual fuel engine is provided to prevent environmental pollution by reducing the amount of exhaust gas much more when using diesel fuel. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling the fuel of a dual fuel engine comprises a diesel supply unit, a gas supply unit, a sensor unit(120), a plurality of injectors(140) and an electric control unit(170). The diesel supply unit is connected to an engine, and supplies diesel to the engine(110). The gas supply unit supplies gas to the engine. The sensor unit measures the state of the engine. The injectors are placed between the gas supply unit and the engine. The injectors inject the gas supplied from the gas supply unit to the engine. The electric control unit controls the engine, diesel supply unit, gas supply unit, sensor unit and the injectors. The electric control unit controls the amount of gas injected into the engine. The amount of diesel is controlled according to the amount of the gas supplied to the engine.
