摘要： PURPOSE:To shorten the longitudinal length of a gear reducer, by using a set of planetary gears that corresponds to two sets of single planetary gears. CONSTITUTION:A set of Lavinio type planetary gears 10 is composed of first and second sun gear 11, 12, a short pinion 13, a long pinion 14, a ring gear 15 and a carrier 16. Four forward gear steps and one reverse gear step can be accomplished by using the Lavinio type planetary gears 10, first, second and third clutch apparatuses 17, 18, 20, and first and second brake apparatuses 22, 25. Thus as the Lavinio type planetary gears 10 correspond to two sets of simple planetary gears, the longitudinal length of the gear change gear can be made approximately the same as that of the prior case of forward three gear steps and one reverse gear step, and therefore the longitudinal length of the gear reducer can be shortened.

摘要： PURPOSE:To maintain winding tension constant with low current consumption without controlling the voltage of a reel motor by changing over the number of revolutions of a reel table by using a planetary gear and a braking means. CONSTITUTION:A sun gear 24 and a brake drum 26 are fixed to a main shaft 22, and a reel disc 30 and a reel table 28 are supported freely rotataly. A planetary gear 34 is provided via a planetary shaft 32 to the disc 30, and a brake ring 40 which is internally toothed is meshed with the gear 36 thereof. The internal gear of the table 28 meshes with a pinion 38. With this constitution, the brake is applied to the ring 40 at the recording and reproducing, and said brake is disengaged at the fast forwarding and the brake is applied to the drum 26. It is possible to change the number of revolutions of the table 28 by stopping the revolution of the ring 40 or the drum 26. Also, it is possible to control tension by suitably setting the press-contact force of the brake 42.

摘要： A hybrid vehicle is driven by a power unit which includes: a first rotating machine including a first rotor, a first stator, and a second rotor, wherein the number of magnetic poles generated by an armature row of the first stator and one of the first rotor and the second rotor are connected to a drive shaft; a power engine, wherein an output shaft of the power engine is connected to the other of the first rotor and the second rotor; a second rotating machine; and a capacitor. A traveling mode of the hybrid vehicle includes an EV traveling mode and an ENG traveling mode, wherein the hybrid vehicle travels with a motive power from at least one of the first rotating machine and the second rotating machine in the EV traveling mode, and the hybrid vehicle travels with a motive power from the power engine in ENG traveling mode. The hybrid vehicle includes: an EV traveling mode predicting unit that predicts a switching from the ENG traveling mode to the EV traveling mode; and a controller that controls a remaining capacity of the capacitor in accordance with prediction result obtained by the EV traveling mode predicting unit so as to change a target value of the remaining capacity. Accordingly, it is possible to achieve reduction in the size and cost of the power unit and enhance the driving efficiency of the power unit.

摘要： A transmission for an engine or motor with a reduced package size and increased efficiency comprising: an input sprocket, an output sprocket, a chain, and a planetary gear set. The output sprocket is drivingly connecting to the input sprocket through the chain. The output sprocket has a hollow center portion that receives the sun gear of the planetary gear set. The planetary gear set also includes at least two planet gears meshed with the sun gear which are mounted to a fixed planet carrier for driving a differential with a ring gear portion. When the input sprocket is rotated in a first direction, the chain drives the output sprocket and the sun gear in the first direction, and the sun gear drives the planet gears to rotate in a second direction, opposite the first direction, driving the ring gear portion and differential in the second direction.
