    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an exhaust emission control device that achieves the size reduction regarding an exhaust emission control device for purifying exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine such as a diesel engine.SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device is configured as follows. A flow-passage pipe 14 is arranged in the radial direction of a cylindrical shell 16 through which exhaust gas passes. The flow-passage pipe 14 is connected to an exhaust gas flow passage of an internal combustion engine in order to purify the passing exhaust gas. On that occasion, a lid member 18 is provided in order to close one end of the cylindrical shell 16 while shell-side fitting grooves 20, 22 are formed at the one end of the cylindrical shell 16 in order to allow fitting of the flow-passage pipe 14 thereinto. Lid-side fitting grooves 40, 42 are formed in the lid member 18 in order to allow fitting of the flow-passage pipe 14 thereinto. The flow-passage pipe 14 is fitted into both fitting grooves 20, 22 and 40, 42 in order to sandwich the flow-passage pipe 14 between the cylindrical shell and the lid member. Each folded-back part 24, 26, and 44, 46 is formed along each fitting groove 20, 22, and 40, 42. A plurality of through-holes 30 are formed in the outer periphery of the flow-passage pipe 14 while one end of the flow-passage pipe 14 is closed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust muffler provided with a tail pipe for suppressing ripples, increasing an engine output and improving fuel consumption efficiency.SOLUTION: A chamber 10 is provided in the middle of an exhaust pipe 1 for an internal combustion engine. A tail pipe 20 to be coupled to an exhaust opening end of the exhaust pipe 1 is provided. A plurality of fins 21 is arranged inside the tail pipe 20 in the spiral shape gradually widening in the direction of discharging the exhaust gas. The chamber 10 is constituted by a cover body 11 and an internal exhaust pipe 12 covered with the cover body 11. The internal exhaust pipe 12 is constituted by a diffusion exhaust pipe 13 having a large diameter and a compression exhaust pipe 14 having a small diameter. Diffusion pores 15 are opened in a part of the side surface of the internal exhaust pipe 12.
