摘要： Provided is a clutch control system for a four-wheel drive vehicle, the system allows a prompt switching from a two-wheel drive traveling to a four-wheel drive traveling. A clutch control system includes: a dog clutch (8) that separates a rear wheel drive system from a front wheel drive system by releasing the dog clutch; an electronically controlled coupling (16) that distributes the driving force of a transverse engine (1) to left and right rear wheels (19, 20) in accordance with a clutch connection capacity; and a 4WD control unit (34) that switches the drive mode to one of a disconnect two-wheel drive mode with the dog clutch (8) and the electronically controlled coupling (16) released, a connect four-wheel drive mode with the dog clutch (8) and the electronically controlled coupling (16) connected, and a stand-by two-wheel drive mode with the dog clutch (8) connected while the electronically controlled coupling (16) released.

摘要： A method of controlling an all-wheel-drive system connect event including providing a power transmission apparatus having a clutch, a propeller shaft, and a rear drive unit with a clutch pack assembly. The rear drive unit clutch pack is actuated by creating a model of the propeller shaft rotational speed, adapting the model parameters to compensate for temperature and vehicle wheel speed, storing the model, adapting the model utilizing information collected during a previous all-wheel-drive system connect event, and developing a set point for the clutch driving element utilizing the model and a multi-loop control architecture. The power transmission apparatus clutch is then engaged.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method of controlling a hydraulic system (100) for an all-wheel drive system, said hydraulic system comprising an electric hydraulic pump (110), a control valve (140) for directing hydraulic fluid to a load, and an accumulator (150) in fluid communication with the pump (110) and the valve (140). The method comprises the steps of estimating a negative hydraulic-fluid leakage flow out of the accumulator (150), such as through the valve (140) and the pump (110), using a predetermined model, estimating a negative hydraulic-fluid work flow through the valve (140), by studying the control signal from an ECU (170) to the control valve (140) and using a predetermined model, and estimating a first positive fluid flow from the pump (110) into the accumulator (150), from a control signal from the ECU (170). The above estimated negative hydraulic-fluid leakage flow, negative hydraulic-fluid work flow and positive fluid flow are added to a total flow communicating with the accumulator (150), and a value is obtained of the volume of the hydraulic fluid in the accumulator (150) from said total flow communicating with the accumulator (150) for controlling an operation mode of said pump (110). The invention also relates to a computer-readable medium for holding a computer program for carrying out the above method, and also a hydraulic system for performing the method.
