摘要： A lower limb prosthetic assembly (10) includes a temporary weight-bearing prosthetic device (12) and an independent removable, replaceable, size-adjustable dressing (76) adapted for immediate post-operative placement around the patient's amputation stump. The temporary weight-bearing prosthetic device includes an adjustable support member (20), and an open ended quadrilateral thigh socket (14) having a padded ischial weight-bearing shelf (16) for supporting the patient without contact to the stump wound. The dressing (76) provides mild, uniform circumferential pressure to the amputation stump and suppresses edema of the stump. The dressing (76) is dimensioned to leave the portion of the gluteus maximus over the ischial tuberosity free for engagement with and support by the ischial shelf (16) of the prosthetic device. The support member includes lockable knee joints (34), and a cable release (36) for unlocking the knee joints. For knee disarticulation or below knee amputation applications, the temporary prosthetic device (12) includes a knee pad (70) and a back panel (72) between the medial and lateral uprights (22, 24).

摘要： Gegenstand der Erfindung sind Prothesen für amputierte Patienten. Der Prothesenschaft (10) besteht aus einer Aussenschale (11) und einer konzentrischen Innenschale (11'). Beide sind mit Längsschlitzen (12, 12') versehen, die gegeneinander versetzt sind und sich im wesentlichen in Achsrichtung erstrecken. Mit Hilfe von Spannelementen (13, 14) lässt sich der Durchmesser des Prothesenschaftes (10) verändern. Im Prothesenschaft (10) ist ein Adapter (20) höhenverstellbar befestigt.
