    • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur induktiven Übertragung elektrischer Energie an längs eines Fahrwegs verfahrbare bewegliche Verbraucher (F1-F13) mit einer längs des Fahrwegs verlaufenden, in elektrisch voneinander getrennte Streckenabschnitte (3-7) aufgeteilten Primärleiteranordnung (2), wobeiden einzelnen Streckenabschnitten (3-7) jeweils mindestens eine Stromquelle (3'-7') zum Einprägen eines Dauerstroms in den jeweiligen Streckenabschnitte (3-7) zugeordnet ist, sowie ein diesbezügliches Verfahren. Die Erfindung löst die Aufgabe, eine bedarfsangepasste, energiesparende Versorgung der beweglichen Verbraucher mit elektrischer Energie und geringe Reaktionszeiten im Betrieb der Vorrichtung zu ermöglichen, dadurch, dass die Vorrichtung ein Mittel (11) zum Bestimmen der in den einzelnen Streckenabschnitten (3-7) jeweils benötigten Gesamtleistung der dort befindlichen beweglichen Verbraucher (F1-F13) und ein Mittel (11) zum Ansteuern der Stromquellen (3'- 7') zum Einprägen des der benötigten Gesamtleistung des jeweiligen Streckenabschnitts (3-7) entsprechenden elektrischen Dauerstroms vorsieht, bzw. dadurch, dass verfahrensgemäß für jeden Streckenabschnitt (3-7) die benötigte Gesamtleistung der dort befindlichen beweglichen Verbraucher (F1-F13) bestimmtund dem jeweiligen Streckenabschnitt (3-7) von der zugeordneten Stromquelle (3'-7') ein elektrischer Dauerstrom einprägt wird, welcher der dort benötigten Gesamtleistung entspricht.

    • The invention relates to a device for the inductive transfer of electric energy from a stationary unit comprising at least one primary inductance (2) to a vehicle (1) that is adjacent to said unit and has at least one secondary inductance (4). The stationary unit has a device (12, 13,14; 2, 16, 14) for detecting the presence of an electrically conductive object (11,1) in a predetermined area that borders the primary inductance (2). In particular, said area can be the area (10) lying between the primary inductance (2) and the secondary inductance (4) during the inductive energy transfer. The device has at least one measuring inductance, a measuring unit (13, 16) for measuring the impedance of the measuring inductance (12, 2) and an evaluation unit (14) that is connected to the measuring unit (13, 16).     • Certain materials are electroluminescent, and this electroluminescent effect has been used in the construction of backlights for displays. Such a backlight commonly consists of a transparent front layer (11) known as the substrate carrying over its rear face a transparent electrically-conductive film (12) forming the backlight's front electrode and covered by a layer of electroluminescent/phosphor material (13) over the rear face of which is a high-dielectric layer (16) bearing on its rear face a conductive film (17) forming the back electrode.     • This invention provides an AC-DC power supply for receiving a three phase mains supply and outputting a transform DC supply. The power supply unit has a rectifier circuit providing an output to a controlled three phase inverted circuit to generate a pseudo-AC three phase output of higher frequency than the AC supplied to the rectifier circuit. A three phase transformer is provided to receive the pseudo-AC three phase output and transform the output and provides us to a three phase rectifier circuit to generate the toutput DC supply. The inverter circuit may provide a three leg bridge structure with each leg having a controlled switching device one of which is used to provide a phase reference. The switching devices of the other two legs may control the relative phase shift on each leg to reduce the phase shift relative to the phase reference on one leg and increase the phase shift relative to the phase reference on the other leg. This is used to control the output voltage level of the inverter circuit. The entire AC-DC power supply may be linked to a gas generator for the electrolysis of water to liberate hydrogen and oxygen.
