摘要： Polymer composition comprising a) an oligo- or polyurethane U of the formula (I) wherein k and n independently are numbers from 1 to 100, m is from the range 1-100, (X) is a block of formula (II) and (Y) is a block of the formula (III), (A) is a residue of an aliphatic or aromatic diisocyanate linker, (B) is a residue of a linear oligo- or polysiloxane containing alkanol end groups, and optionally further containing one or more aliphatic ether moieties, and (C) is an aromatic oligo- or polyarylene ether block that is at least partly etherified at its terminal positions with one alkylene glycol unit; or a mixture of such oligo- or polyurethanes; and b) one or more further organic polymers P selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polyvinyl acetates, cellulose acetates, polyacrylonitriles, polyamides, polyolefines, polyesters, polyarylene ethers, polysulfones, polyethersulfones, polyphenylenesulfones, polycarbonates, polyether ketones, sulfonated polyether ketones, polyamide sulfones, polyvinylidene fluorides, polyvinylchlorides, polystyrenes and polytetrafluorethylenes, copolymers thereof, and mixtures thereof; preferably selected from the group consisting of polysulfones, polyphenylenes, polyethersulfones, polyvinylidene fluorides, polyamides, cellulose acetate and mixtures thereof.

摘要： The invention provides a polishing pad by which optical materials such as lenses, reflecting mirrors etc., or materials requiring a high degree of surface planarity, as in the polishing of silicone wafers, glass substrates or aluminum substrates for hard disks, or general metal polishing, can be flattened with stability and high polishing efficiency. The invention also provides a polishing pad for semiconductor wafers, which is superior in planarizing characteristic, is free from scratches and can be produced at low cost. There is provided a polishing pad which is free from dechucking error so that neither damage to wafers nor decrease in operating efficiency occurs. There is provided a polishing pad which is satisfactory in planarity, within wafer uniformity, and polishing rate and produces less change in polishing rate. There is provided a polishing pad which can make planarity improvement and scratch decrease compatible.

摘要： The present invention relates to coatings that possess a dynamic contact angle hysteresis in water, measured by means of a Wilhelmy balance according to DIN EN 14370, of at most 15°, and are can be manufactured from star-shaped prepolymers and/or star-shaped prepolymer-nanoparticle complexes that are cross-linkable with one another and with the surface of the substrate to be coated, the star-shaped prepolymers and/or star-shaped prepolymer-nanoparticle complexes possessing, before being cross-linked, at least three hydrophilic polymer arms that, considered of themselves, are soluble in water, and that carry on all or on some of their free ends R1 silyl terminal groups of the following general formula (I): R1 is —CRa2—Si(ORb)r(Rc)3-r, where Ra denotes hydrogen or a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, ORb denotes a hydrolyzable group, Rc denotes a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and r denotes a number from 1 to 3, and that carry, on the optionally present ends not carrying silyl terminal groups, reactive groups that are reactive with respect to themselves, the substrate to be coated, entities optionally introduced into the coating, and/or with the silyl terminal groups. The present invention furthermore relates to a method for manufacturing such coatings, and to star-shaped prepolymers that are used in the coatings. The invention moreover relates to use of the star-shaped prepolymers as additives to various agents for temporary or permanent anti-soiling finishing of surfaces.
