摘要： A rigid polyurethane foam which has ultrafine cells, has a low thermal conductivity of 0.0190 W/(m·K) or lower, exhibits excellent heat insulating properties and flame retardancy, and has very little impact on global warming, without using a special apparatus such as a gas loading device. Provided is a rigid polyurethane foam which is obtained by mixing and reacting raw materials including a polyol, a polyisocyanate, a blowing agent, and a catalyst. The rigid polyurethane foam contains the polyol containing a polyester polyol having an aromatic component concentration of 17-35 wt. %, and a non-amine-based polyether polyol and/or an aromatic amine-based polyether polyol; the polyisocyanate in which MDI/TDI are mixed at a ratio of 4/6 to 9/1; and the blowing agent containing a halogenated olefin.

摘要： A process for producing a rigid polyurethane foam by reacting an organic polyisocyanate with a polyol component containing a compound with at least two hydrogen atoms which are reactive toward isocyanate groups in the presence of a blowing agent, a catalyst, and optionally auxiliaries and additives, wherein the polyol component contains, by weight: 20 to 60 parts of a polyether alcohol having a functionality of 3.5 to 5.5 and a hydroxyl number of from 400 to 550 mg KOH/g; 1 to 20 parts of a polyether alcohol based on an aliphatic amine and having a functionality of 3.5 to 4.5 and a hydroxyl number of 450 to 900 mg KOH/g; 10 to 30 parts of a polyether alcohol and/or aromatic polyester alcohol having functionalities of 1.5 to 3 and a hydroxyl number of from 150 to 450 mg KOH/g; and optionally 1 to 5 parts of water.

摘要： Catalyst compositions useful in the production of insulating polyurethane or polyisocyanurate foam are disclosed. The catalyst compositions impart increased stability of a mixture of the catalyst, a halogen-containing blowing agent, and a polyol. These catalyst compositions comprise of at least 10% of a tetraalkylguanidine and at least 10% of a tertiary amine catalyst with an isocyanate reactive group. These improved catalysts can be used with any halogenated blowing agent, and provide substantial stability benefits with the use of hydrofluoroolefins and hydrofluorochloroolefins. In an exemplary embodiment, a process includes providing a pre-mix comprising a hydrohaloolefin blowing agent, at least one polyol, water, and a catalyst comprising 10-50% tetra methylguanidine and 10-90% of one or more of an amine catalyst containing an isocyanate reactive group.

摘要： A heat-activable powder adhesive composition for use in bonding a component to a surface such as glass is disclosed. The composition of the disclosed invention includes at least two polymers, at least one solid di- or poly-isocyanate in powder form, and a catalyst. The two polymers each have a melting point above 40° C. and are selected from the group consisting of di-functional polymers and multi-functional polymers. The preferred method of preparing the composition of the disclosed invention includes first forming three parts, including a first melted part comprising the polymers, a second melted part comprising the polymers and a catalyst, and a third part comprising the isocyanate. Once cooled, each of the first and second parts forms solid blocks which are fragmented and sieved. The three dry parts are then brought together to form the adhesive powder of the disclosed invention. The adhesive powder can be pre-applied to the attachment surface of a component to be bonded. The composition does not require either a deactivating agent or a blocking agent for deactivating the isocyanate or the catalyst nor does it require either a deactivated isocyanate or a deactivated catalyst.
