    • According to an embodiment of the present invention, a vehicle having a variable oil pump comprises a sun gear receiving the rotary power from a power source through an input shaft; a ring gear of which the inner circumference is spaced from the outer circumference of the sun gear; a planetary gear provided between the inner circumference of the ring gear and the outer circumference of the sun gear; a carrier connecting a rotary shaft of the carrier; an oil pump pumping oil through an output shaft connected to the carrier; and a motor provided outside of the ring gear to selectively rotate the ring gear. Accordingly, the energy lost can be reduced by controlling the rotational speed of the oil pump through the motor based on the rotational speed or operation status of an engine of the vehicle, and the stability can be enhanced by reducing the changes in pressure of oil discharged from the oil pump. In addition, more stable oil pressure can be generated by applying an adjusted value based on the oil temperature, and the load of the oil pump can be controlled to be optimized by a single motor.
