    • The present invention relates to a fuel supply system of an internal combustion engine and, more specifically, to a fuel supply system of an internal combustion engine. A compression system (7) is provided in a low pressure region (4), and a high pressure region including a pumping device (3) for transferring fuel from the low pressure region of the fuel supply system to the high pressure region (6) of the fuel supply system, and positioned between the pumping device (3) and injectors (1) allocated to a cylinder, wherein the compression system includes distributor units (9) connected to each other through high-pressure lines (10) and is consistently under high pressure; the compression system (7) is also connected to the pumping device (3) through at least one high-pressure line which is consistently under high pressure; the compression system (7) is connected to the injectors (1) through high-pressure lines (11), which are under high pressure, at times according to an injection cycle. All the distributor units (9) of the compression system connected to each other through the high pressure lines (10) are connected to a common exposure collection main (13) provided with a common exposure sensor (14) for all the distributor units (9) to detect a leakage amount exceeding a limit value with respect to the entire compression system; a separate time inspection device (15) is allocated to each distributor unit (9) of the compression system (7) to assign an arbitrary leakage detected by the exposure sensor (14) to at least one distributor unit (9).

    • The invention relates to a fuel injection system for combustion engines that has a high-pressure part and a low-pressure part. In the high-pressure part, fuel is supplied from a fuel tank to a high-pressure accumulator (5) via a high-pressure pump (4) and a high-pressure line (32). Injectors (7) are supplied from the high- pressure accumulator (5) via high-pressure supply lines (6). In the low- pressure part, the injectors (7) are connected to a low-pressure accumulator (9) via injector return lines (8) whereby, in the low- pressure accumulator (9), a pressure greater than or equal to 50 bar is maintained by a pressure maintaining valve (11). When a pressure inside the low-pressure accumulator (9) exceeds the opening pressure of the pressure maintaining valve (11), the fuel is returned into the fuel tank via a return line (12). The low-pressure accumulator (9) is connected to the high-pressure line (32) of the high-pressure part via an overflow valve (15) and an overflow line (33).
