    • PURPOSE: A noise control method for a four-wheel drive vehicle is provided to prevent noise from rotation inertia of a propeller shaft in decelerating or coasting by controlling the four-wheel drive unit according to engine rpm, vehicle speed and the steering angle. CONSTITUTION: An ECU(Electronic Control Unit) detects present engine rpm, vehicle speed and the steering angle from sensors during traveling(S100), and compares the detected values with the reference values(S110,S120,S130). The ECU compares rpm of a front wheel with rpm of a rear wheel(S140), and sets the control duty of a four-wheel drive unit(S160). The control duty is detected, and compared with the predetermined control duty(S170,S180). The control duty is increased or decreased by outputting the predetermined duty control value or the predetermined duty value(S181,S182). The control duty is controlled repeatedly until the present control duty is equal to the predetermined control duty.
