A secondary turbine(80) is installed in an air duct(70) provided at the first side of the auxiliary air tank(60). The primary turbine(50) and the secondary turbine(90) are coupled to a variable transmission(70) including a pair of variable poly actuators(91,92) and an electronic clutch.

    • A vacuum pressure adjusting apparatus for braking of a vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to guarantee smooth and accurate operational states of an engine and a brake all the time. A vacuum pressure adjusting apparatus for braking of a vehicle comprises a vacuum pressure amplifying device(5), a solenoid valve(9), and a controller(11). The vacuum pressure amplifying device is disposed between an engine intake pipe and a surge tank(7), detouring a throttle valve(1) and an idle speed actuator(ISA)(3). The solenoid valve intermittently opens and interrupts the air passing to the vacuum pressure amplifying device, being disposed at an air inlet of the vacuum pressure amplifying device. The controller controls the solenoid valve according to a driving state of the vehicle. A control method of the vacuum pressure adjusting apparatus comprises the steps of calculating a surge tank vacuum pressure for comparison with a reference vacuum pressure, determining whether a brake switch is in operation, and opening the air inlet by the solenoid valve if the brake switch is operating.

    • A brake system of a minecar according to the present invention comprises brake shoes corresponding to left and right wheels of the minecar; brake arms having one side ends hinge-connected to the brake shoes for supporting the brake shoes respectively; tension units controlling the brake arms to adhere the brake shoes to the wheels respectively; and an actuator actuating the brake arm in a direction opposite to a control direction of a left and a right brake arm by the tension units to separate each of the brake shoes from the wheel. The tension unit includes a connecting member connecting the other end of each of the brake arms; a support rod having an upper end connected to a base frame and a lower end connected to the connecting member and a spring elastically pressing the support rod upwards. The actuator includes a cylinder arranged between the connecting member and the base frame; a pair of plungers arranged in an up and down symmetric direction within the cylinder and having protrusions; and an extension spring positioned between both the plungers for pressing both the plungers in opposite directions. The present invention basically maintains a braking state in a state that the minecar is separated from an engine locomotive and selectively releases the braking state according to a manipulation of a worker. Therefore, the present invention enhances stability of the minecar, accordingly has an advantage of enhancing work efficiency in performing a cargo loading or unloading work using the minecar.

A snow brake(5) is pushed by an operation of a motor because pressure of a hydraulic tank is transferred to a piston(4) through a hose. Thereby, a vehicle brakes because the snow brake frictionizes the road. Power of the piston is adjusted by the operation of the switch. The snow brake is produced in a folding type for convenient traveling and simplicity of a device. Thereby, a slip of the vehicle is minimized and a braking distance is reduced by preventing the slip with the snow brake contacted to the road directly.
