    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a period which elapses until retracting of a clutch pedal is restrained just after load is input from the front of a vehicle body.SOLUTION: A vehicle front end structure 10 includes: a cable member 40 one end of which is connected to a clutch pedal side and the other end of which is separably held on a holding member 36 disposed between an engine 20 and a wall member 30 disposed on the vehicle body front side of the engine 20, and which is disposed so as to traverse the vehicle body rear side of the wall member 30; and a pressing member 50 which is convexly provided so as to face the cable member 40, on a wall surface 30A facing the vehicle body rear side in the wall member 30 and which, when load is input from the front of a vehicle body, disengages the other end of the cable member 40 from the holding member 36 by pressing the cable member 40 to the vehicle body rear side.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake pedal unit that has a simplified structure and can suppress recession of a brake pedal pad to backward in a vehicle when an external force is applied.SOLUTION: A pedal bracket 22 is fixed to an internal side of a vehicle compartment of a dash panel 16, and a brake arm 20 is supported by the pedal bracket 22 so that the brake arm can be freely slid, and has a brake pedal pad 20a at one end thereof. A coupling arm 26 is supported by the pedal bracket 22 and couples a push rod 32 and the brake arm 20. A rotary arm 36 is supported by the coupling arm 26 so that the rotary arm can be freely rotated. When the pedal bracket 22 is displaced backward in the vehicle, the rotary arm 36 has one end thereof abutted on a fixing bracket 34 and is thus rotated. Due to the rotation, the other end of the rotary arm abuts on the push rod 32 so as to induce bending of the push rod 32.
