The reaction force mechanism 20 includes: a reaction force generation part 21 for generating the reaction force by an actuator; a swing arm 30 for imparting the reaction force generated by the reaction force generation part 21 to the pedal arm 11 by contacting the pedal arm 11; and a spindle 120 for regulating the input of a load to the pedal arm 11 due to the contact of the swing arm 30 in a state in which the reaction force mechanism 20 does not generate the reaction force. The swing arm 30 maintains a contact with the pedal arm 11 in a state in which the pedal arm 11 is step-in operated and in a state in which the pedal arm 11 is returned from the step-in operation.
