    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel consumption, and reduce noise and vibration by enabling a hydraulic circuit to control an automatic transmission to control line pressure meeting input torque.
      SOLUTION: This hydraulic pressure control device for an automatic transmission controls a pressure control valve provided in a hydraulic circuit connected to a hydraulic pump to control line pressure in a hydraulic circuit in the closing side in accordance with increase of torque reaction of a reduction mechanism provided between a starting clutch and the automatic transmission. The reduction mechanism is composed of a planetary gear mechanism, it is mounted on a sun gear in a planetary gear mechanism to be irrotational, an actuation arm is fixed to a sun gear shaft, and the actuation arm is disposed to be abutted to a receiving member to receive a reaction spring of the pressure control valve. Thus, in a case where torque reaction of the sun gear is an initial set value for the reaction spring or less, low line pressure is maintained, and in a case where the torque reaction exceeds the initial set value, the pressure control valve is controlled to the closing side to increase the line pressure as the torque reaction increases.
