    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent gear change shock when starting from a neutral state, in a transmission for a vehicle provided between a transmission output shaft and a main shaft wherein a hydraulic clutch which becomes a connected state according to oil pressure action is provided between a crank shaft of an engine and a main shaft and any of selectively establishable gear trains of a plurality of shifting stages can be a not-established state.
      SOLUTION: In the transmission for the vehicle, when conducting shift change to start the vehicle from the neutral state in which any of the gear trains G1 to G5, G6 of the plurality of shifting stages are in the not-established state and oil pressures of the hydraulic clutches 44, 45 are lowered to a starting state for establishing the gear trains G1, GR for start, the oil pressures of the hydraulic clutches 44, 45 are controlled by a control valve so that the oil pressures of the hydraulic clutches 44, 45 corresponding to the gear trains G1, GR for start are increased in accordance with establishment completion of the gear trains G1, GR after maintaining the oil pressure in a lowered state after the change shift operation.
