    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aircraft starter generator achieving cost reduction and simplification of a device by carrying out constant frequency power generation by a low pressure shaft of an engine and electric start by a high pressure shaft, by one unit.
      SOLUTION: The aircraft starter generator 1 includes an electric rotating machine 26 functioning as a starter and a generator, a continuously variable transmission 25, a high pressure side clutch 27 connected to the high pressure shaft 7 of the engine 10, and a low pressure side clutch 28 connected to the low pressure shaft 8. The rotating machine 26 drives the high pressure shaft 7 through the high pressure side clutch 27 at start and the low pressure shaft 8 drives the rotating machine 26 at constant rotation speed through the low pressure clutch 28 and the continuously variable transmission 25 after the engine 10 enters into a self-sustained operation.
