摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deployment of an air bag or suppress a deploying force when an occupant leans against an air bag device or a vehicle body member near the air bag device. SOLUTION: An air bag device 1 for a front passenger seat is installed on an instrument panel 2, and a bracket 4 is attached to a vehicle body side member 3 by a bolt 5 and the like. A distortion gauge 6 is attached to the bracket 4. When the occupant leans against a lid 14 covering the front surface side of a retainer 10, the weight of the occupant is transmitted to the bracket 4 through the retainer 10, and minute distortion is generated on the bracket 4. The distortion is detected by the distortion gauge 6. When a gas generator is actuated while the distortion gauge 6 detects the distortion, a blocking member 20 opens a discharging port 30. Therefore, a part of the generated gas is released from the discharging port 30 to the outside of the retainer 10, thereby suppressing the deployment force of the air bag 12. SOLUTION: The mounting structure for an air bag unit includes a mounting plate 11 having a plurality of holes 21, 22, 23, 24 to which a plurality of legs of the air bag unit (including a gas generator) are inserted. A spring 31 is provided on this plate and is provided with a first part 32 having two forwardly projecting arm parts 33, 34. The two arm parts are engaged with hanging down parts 25, 26, 27, 28 hanging down from the plate. The spring is engaged with the leg in the state that it crosses the holes 21, 22, 23, 24. When the spring is moved by a tool, the arm parts 33, 34 are guided by the hanging parts and are deviated from the holes 22, 23. Thus, the gas generator can be removed.

摘要： A device for fastening an airbag module in a vehicle comprises a first part, in particular a steering wheel insert (28), with a latching hook (30), and a second part, in particular a baseplate (10) of the airbag module, with a passage opening (14) for the latching hook (30) and with a holder (16) for a spring element (18). The device furthermore comprises a spring element (18) with a bearing section (22) and an elastically deflectable retaining section (24). The spring element (18) is held in the holder (16) in such a manner that the retaining section (24) is transferable from a starting position into a deflecting position, which permits the latching hook (30) to be guided through the passage opening (14), and into a retaining position, in which the retaining section (24) presses against a retaining surface (40) of the latching hook (30). By contrast, the bearing section (22) is held substantially immovably in the holder (16).

摘要： A driver-airbag-apparatus-attaching structure is provided having a simple configuration and with which space can be saved. A snap-lock mechanism includes brackets projecting from the front surface of a steering hub portion, attachment pieces projecting from the bottom surface of a retainer of a driver airbag apparatus in such a manner as to overlap the brackets, openings provided in the brackets, and projecting portions projecting from surfaces of the respective attachment pieces that are to face the respective brackets. The projecting portions are continuous with the attachment pieces with respective elastically deformable portions interposed therebetween. When the driver airbag apparatus is bought near to the steering hub portion, the attachment pieces move along the brackets, and the projecting portions receive reactive forces from the brackets, whereby the elastically deformable portions elastically deform. When the projecting portions reach the openings, the elastically deformable portions elastically restore the original forms, and the projecting portions engage with the openings.
