摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inflater for an air bag which has a simple structure but at the same time enables an easy airtight connection because of the structure.
SOLUTION: The inflater for the air bag is the inflater for the air bag inside a steering wheel for a vehicle which is supported to an air bag housing as a damper mass for vibration by moving freely through a circular spring element made of polymer material which does not transmit gas. A ring member is arranged on an inner part of the spring element where the spring element works on an inflater container and an outer surface of the ring member is connected to the spring element by vulcanization and is engaged with the inflater container in its shape. The inflater for the air bag is characterized in that a shape engagement between the ring member (4, 24) and the inflater container (2) is made by a groove for positioning (7, 17).
