    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of a two-cycle engine and to provide the two-cycle engine, capable of easily attaining superior exhaust gas value. SOLUTION: In this operation method of the two-cycle engine, the two-cycle engine 1 has a fuel supply device, and a part of an intake passage 49 is formed in the fuel supply device; and the intake passage 49 communicates with a purifying chamber 31 of an air filter 27 upstream of the fuel supply device; and the intake passage 49 is divided into an air supply passage 10 for supplying air which substantially does not contain a fuel and an air-fuel mixture passage 8 for supplying an air-fuel mixture of fuel and air by a partition wall 19 on the downstream side of the fuel supply device, and a throttle valve 24 pointing in the direction of the partition wall 19 in at least one operation state, is turnably supported in a part of the intake passage 49. A valve is arranged for supplying the fuel, and the fuel is supplied to the intake passage 49 via the valve, in at least this operation state, only when pressure in the air-fuel mixture passage 8 is not substantially higher than pressure in the air supply passage 10.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress entry of air fuel mixture to inside of an air cleaner by blowing back on an air fuel mixture passage in a stratified scavenging two-cycle engine.
      SOLUTION: The air cleaner 24 has a guide member 30. A blowing back flow 20 of air flowing back to the air cleaner 24 via a first air opening 23A by an air blowing back flow is guided to a portion in the vicinity of a second air opening 23M by the guide member 30. A blowing back flow 21 of air fuel mixture generated on the air fuel mixture passage 2 before the blowing back phenomenon on an air passage 3 collides with the air flow 20 flowing toward the portion in the vicinity of the second air opening 23M, and thus, the air fuel mixture is stopped in the vicinity of the second air opening 23M.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the output of an engine, by promoting atomization of fuel by forming a plurality of parallel intake passages by vertically dividing the intake passage on the downstream side of a throttle valve constituting a variable venturi carburetor, and opening the plurality of parallel intake passages successively along with downward movement of the throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:At the time of high-load operation of an engine, a piston-like throttle valve 6 is in its upper position, so that a primary in-take passage 18 and a secondary intake passage 20 of an intake passage 12 divided by a partition wall 16 are both fully opened. Resultantly, a large amount of intake air is passed through the passages 18, 20. Here, since the effective jet area of a main jet 10 is large, a large amount of fuel is also ejected from the main jet 10 and air-fuel mixture is supplied to a combustion chamber 26 via a crankcase 14 and a scavenging passage 22. At the time of low-load operation of the engine, on the other hand, the throttle valve 6 is in its lower position, so that only the primary intake passage 18 is opened. Resultantly, all of intake air is introduced into the primary passage 18 and the velocity of intake-air flow is increased, so that sufficiently atomized fuel is supplied to the combustion chamber 26.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent separated liquid fuel from collecting in the tank in such a way that an air inlet path in an engine and a surge tank which maintains fluidic inertia of the mixed air are communicated by a branch pipe which has asperities on the inner wall surfaces. CONSTITUTION:An air inlet path 6 which is provided with a carburetor 15 is communicated through a reed valve 13 to an air inlet port 7. An expansion tank 21 is communicated as a surge tank thrugh a branch pipe 20 at the upper part of the air inlet path 6. Asperities are formed on the wall surfaces of the branch pipe 20. Therefore, separated liquid fuel in the tank 21 can be returned along the inner wall surfaces to the air inlet path 6 without being pushed back into the tank 21 by the mixed air flow which is taken in through the branch pipe 20.
