    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carburetor capable of supplying appropriate quantity of fuel for start at a time of cold engine.
      SOLUTION: The carburetor 1 is provided with an intake air flow path 21 distributing intake air to an engine, a fuel storage part 22 storing fuel from the fuel tank, a fuel supply flow path 30 for start supplying fuel for start from the fuel storage part 22 to the intake air flow path 21, and a solenoid valve 3 provided in a middle of the fuel supply flow path 30 for start. The fuel supply flow path 30 for start between a fuel intake part 31 and the intake air flow path 21 is formed in a straight line shape. Consequently, pressure loss of fuel between the fuel intake part 31 and the intake air flow path 21 is suppressed, and the carburetor 1 can easily draws out fuel to the intake air flow path 21 by negative pressure generated in the intake air flow path 21 without retention of fuel. Since appropriate quantity of fuel for start can be supplied at a time of cold engine, startability of the engine can be secured.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating throttle valve carburetor reduced in the number of parts and facilitating high precise assembly.
      SOLUTION: A carburetor element 1 is provided with a rotating valve element holding hole 5 to rotatably receive a rotating valve element 3a of a rotating valve body 3; and a bearing part 1b axially supporting an outward protruding shaft 3c coaxially mounted on a rotating valve body so as to combine an operating lever 6. The parts are simultaneously molded through casting emission, and machined for formation. Coaxially processing of a rotating valve element holding hole and a bearing part is facilitated, and high precise centering is facilitated. Further, since a cover body being a different member is not needed, improvement of assembling ability and reduction of an assembly cost can be promoted through reduction of the number of assembling works and a cut of the number of parts.
