摘要： A gear shift system for a motor vehicle includes a starter motor (60) for starting an engine (10) of the vehicle and an automated manual transmission (30) for transmitting power from the engine (10) to wheels of the vehicle. The transmission (30) comprises control means (50) controlling actuators (42, 44, 46) which control the shift operation of the transmission (30) in response to operation of an operating lever (41). Further, the gear shift system employs a neutral shift means (200) which is effective only when the engine is stopped and preferably when the vehicle speed is below a predetermined forward or rearward speed. The neutral shift means (200) allows the shift operation of the actuators (42, 44, 46) for shifting the shift stage only to the neutral position. Repeated shifts when the engine is not running are therefore prevented, with consequent protection of the vehicle battery condition. The neutral shift means (200) can be bypassed during push-starting or tow-starting of the vehicle.

摘要： A biaxial type gear transmission comprises a plurality of gear sets (G1 to G5 and Gr) arranged in pairs. A sleeve (33, 34, 35) is disposed between the two gear sets (G1 and G4; G2 and G5; G3 and Gr) of each pair. Power transmission from an input shaft (31) to an output shaft (32) is established or interrupted by axial movement of the sleeves (33, 34, 35), and power transmission from the input shaft to the output shaft at a certain gear ratio is established by selection of a certain gear set based upon an operation of a shift operating mechanism. The gear sets of each pair face each other and are disposed with a nonconsecutive order of shift stage, so that shift transfers are effected by moving two of the sleeves (33, 34, 35) simultaneously.

摘要： A gear shift system for a motor vehicle includes a starter motor (60) for starting an engine (10) of the vehicle and an automated manual transmission (30) for transmitting power from the engine (10) to wheels of the vehicle. The transmission (30) comprises control means (50) controlling actuators (42, 44, 46) which control the shift operation of the transmission (30) in response to operation of an operating lever (41). Further, the gear shift system employs a neutral shift means (200) which is effective only when the engine is stopped and preferably when the vehicle speed is below a predetermined forward or rearward speed.
