摘要： Method of preparing NC data for moving a working head (WHD) along a path (PT) which is a predetermined distance D away from a curved surface (CS). Coordinate values (x, y, z) representing the position of the center (QO) of rotation of the working head (WHD) are obtained at the time when the tip of the working head (WHD) is located at a point (PO) on the curved surface (CS). Further, unit components (i, j, k) of the vector (BR) of the central axis of the working head (WHD) are obtained at the time when the tip of the working head (WHD) is located at the point (PO). By the use of the positional coordinate values and the unit components of the central axis vector as well as the distance D between the curved surface (CS) and the tip of the working head (WHD) during an operation, which is given separately, positional control data (X, Y, Z) for moving the working head (WHD) along the path (PT) which is away from the curved surface (CS) by the distance D are obtained from the following formulae: X = x + i x D; Y = y + j x D, Z = z + k x D. By the use of the positional control data thus obtained, NC data for controlling the position of the working head is prepared.

摘要： A lathe or a boring machine is provided with a tool of which the cutting edge is radially adjustable. A stepping motor (15) operates a clearance-free, prestressed ring (20) made in two portions by means of an endless screw (17, 19); this ring (20) sets a pin (12) in motion by means of a rotation shaft (21). The pin (12) backs off the cutting tool at the end of the machining operation by means of an adjustable mechanism and secures the cutting tool radially for the next machining operation so as to take up the cutting wear.

摘要： The numerical controlled machine tool includes an input panel with key-switches for providing a control device with all the control information necessary to prepare machining data, and a built-in microcomputer having a memory for storing the minimum amount of data necessary at the time of machining. In accordance with the control method, various items of data which are actually required when machining a workpiece, such as paths of movement for rough machining, semi-finishing and finishing, are employed executing sequential operations on the basis of the data stored beforehand in the microcomputer. This permits data corresponding to a wide variety of workpieces to be processed with a minimum of storage capacity, and also allows complex shapes of an uneven contour to be machined to a high precision through a simple operation.
