摘要： A boring tool (8) is interchangeable on the spindle of a boring unit. The tool (8) is carried by a tool holder (6) which is orientable about an axis offset transversally with respect to the axis of the spindle. The tool holder (6) is connected to a support-ing arm (10), which bears on a wedge shaped surface (12) slightly inclined of an adjustable device (13), axially movable in the spindle (1) by means of a rod (15). By axially displacing the rod (15), the boring tool (8) is radially adjustable. The tool (8) is extensible in the tool carrier (6) by means of balls (19) tensioning the jaws (18, 19, 20); the balls (19) are contained in an axially displaceable cage (18). At the end of the axial motion of the rod (15), the latter moves the resilient cage (18), held in its tensioning position, and releases the jaws of the boring tool (8).

摘要： A lathe or a boring machine is provided with a tool of which the cutting edge is radially adjustable. A stepping motor (15) operates a clearance-free, prestressed ring (20) made in two portions by means of an endless screw (17, 19); this ring (20) sets a pin (12) in motion by means of a rotation shaft (21). The pin (12) backs off the cutting tool at the end of the machining operation by means of an adjustable mechanism and secures the cutting tool radially for the next machining operation so as to take up the cutting wear.

摘要： The spindle (9) of a machine tool carries a boring device provided with a boring bar (1) and with a tool (2). The boring bar (1) is connected to a back plate (8) of the spindle (9) by means of torsion bars (3). A support arm (11) fixed to the boring bar (1) bears on a low gradient surface (14) of an adjusting body (16) which may be moved axially in a guide (17) by a thrust bar (23) to impact a radial motion to the tool (2). Facing the inclined surface (14) there is provided a second inclined surface (15) between which the support arm (11) is positively guided. The radial adjustment of the tool (2) allows the clearing of the tool (2) from a machined surface during the backward motion of the tool and the compensation of the wear of the tool during a following machining operation.
