摘要： In general, a shift-by- wire transmission range selector system consistent with the present disclosure may include an actuator one or more electric motors to allow the actuator to operate for shifting the gear position of a transmission. In the event of a power or system failure, a fail safe release motor may be actuated by energy stored in a capacitor. The fail safe release motor drives a slide cam to release a trigger arm. Upon release of the trigger arm, a spring-driven mechanism safely returns the transmission to the PARK position by rotating an output shaft. A redundant control link may be provided, configured to actuate the fail safe release motor in the event of a power or system failure.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for the emergency control of an automatic transmission, wherein the selection and switching operations can be initiated via an actuating shaft that can be pivoted about the longitudinal axis thereof and is supported in an axially displaceable manner, which can be adjusted by means of a selection drive having a selection actuator configured as a direct current electric motor in a selection movement direction and by means of a switching drive having a switching actuator configured as a direct current electric motor in a switching movement direction, and the current selection and switching positions of which can be determined during normal operation by means of a selection sensor unit operatively connected to the selection drive and by means of a switching sensor unit being in operative connection to the switching drive, wherein, in the case of a failure of one of the sensor units, an adjustment position of the respective actuating drive is determined by means of an analysis of at least one electric variable of one of the electric motors as a replacement. In order to increase the operational security, the method according to the invention proposes that the transmission actuator of the actuating drive affected by the failure of the sensor unit be controlled within a selection or switching operation in an actuating time- and/or actuating travel-dependant manner, wherein the determination of a predefined target actuating time tSoll and the calculation of an actuating travel position s each occurs by the analysis of at least one electric variable of one of the electric motors.

The vehicle control apparatus includes: a controller that controls the electric power supplied to the first actuator and that controls the electric power supplied to the second actuator; a first electric power supply unit that supplies electric power to the controller; a second electric power supply unit that supplies electric power to the first actuator; and a third electric power supply unit that supplies electric power to the second actuator. An actuator control unit in the controller controls the electric power supplied to the second actuator from the second electric power supply unit or from the third electric power supply unit when the second actuator is not able to operate using the electric power supplied from the first electric power supply unit.

摘要： A safety system in a clutch management system CMS for an automatic clutch is designed to take over control of the clutch management system if the electronic main control unit ECU (6) does not execute the control logic, when ECU (6) loses voltage, and when ECU (6) itself detects that it is no longer in control of the control current to a main valve (4) in CMS. In this case a backup control unit ECU (13), which is connected to ECU (6) and normally is operated continuously and parallel thereto, takes over control of the position of the hydraulic actuator (5) which regulates the torque which is transferred by the clutch. The backup control unit ECU (13) is implemented in the form of a continuously running state machine SM with e.g. six states, each comprising an operational part and a decision part. In a method for control of the clutch management system CMS, the information which is detected and processed in the safety system even in an error situation is sufficient to give the driver control over the vehicle in which the clutch management system CMS is installed.

摘要： A process and device for controlling the control system of a motor vehicle drive allow a reliable operation with a complex control panel and a redundant operation in case of malfunctions. The control device has operating elements (10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20) for setting the operational modes of a machine drive (32), an at least partially infinitely variable change-speed gear (30) and/or brakes (58). Electric circuits for converting the setting values of the operating elements (10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20) into electric sensor signals are associated with the operating elements (10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20). An electronic unit (24) has controllers associated with the operating elements (10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20) which calculate the setting signals out of the sensor signals. Electronic control circuits (26, 28) which control the machine drive (32) and/or the gear box (30) depending on the setting signals are associated with the machine drive (32) and/or the gear box (30). The electronic unit (24), the control circuits (26, 28) and output and input units (44, 82) communicate with each other over a bus system. The electronic unit with its controllers, the bus system (33), the sensor signals and/or the control circuits (26, 28) are checked for malfunctions. The check results are stored as status flags. The control device is diagnosed and evaluated on the basis of the present status flags according to predeterminable criteria. The results of the evaluation are displayed to the operator by the output unit (44).
