    • A positive-displacement unitary pump and turbine is operable as a fluid energy exchanger using a charging fluid as motive force and acting upon a separate feed fluid that exits the turbine at an elevated energy state. The rotor casing defines a rotor chamber having a contoured wall that forms a plurality of lobes, typically in an even number. Each lobe has an inlet port and an outlet port defined by the contoured wall, and the rotor has a plurality of vanes that follow the contoured wall as the rotor spins. The rotor is driven by the charging fluid entering first and second lobes, located generally opposite one another, and exiting the lobes at a lower energy state. The driven rotor is operable to elevate the energy level of a feed fluid in third and fourth lobes, located generally opposite one another.

    • The invention relates to positive displacement pneumatic machines, and more particularly to hydraulic motors. The invention as claimed is a rotor-piston internal combustion engine comprising a main body with a cylindrical cavity in which a rotor-piston is concentrically mounted, wherein the rotor-piston comprises radial protrusions and radial recesses on its peripheral surface forming in conjunction with body cylindrical inner walls, a plurality of closed segmental cavities, combustion chambers arranged in the lateral cylindrical cavities placed beyond the main cylindrical cavity and communicating with the later though inlet and outlet passages, provided with a controllable valve gear, wherein the lateral cylindrical cavities are provided with nozzles to inject fuel and spark plugs, gas distribution devices with inlet and outlet passages wherein each lateral cylindrical cavity receives a lateral rotor, each lateral rotor having three cavities with openings through its side surface, wherein the openings have a uniform linear and angular displacement relative to each other so that the projections of these three openings do not intersect with each other neither in the rotor side view nor in its axial view.

    • An internal combustion engine having combustion chambers that rotate about a main shaft axis in a step-wise manner. First and second rotors each have elongate pistons that are interdigitated so that when one rotor rotates with respect to the other rotor, some chambers between the pistons are reduced in volume and other chambers are increased in volume. Simultaneously, yet other chambers are experiencing compression and ignition cycles. An oil pump is driven by the first and second rotors for circulating a lubricant from a reservoir, through the engine parts to be lubricated and back to the reservoir to cool the lubricant.
