摘要： The present disclosure relates to a releasable footplate assembly (6-1) for a gait training unit (5-1, 5-2). The releasable footplate assembly (6-1) includes a movable footplate (7-1) having fastening means (15) for fastening a user's foot (3-1, 3-2) to the movable footplate (7-1). A footplate carrier (12) having retaining means (10-1) is provided to generate a retaining force to retain the movable footplate (7-1). The retaining means (10-1) is controllable to adjust the retaining force. The retaining force may, for example, be controlled in dependence on a position and/or orientation of the releasable footplate assembly (6-1). In an alternative arrangement, the processor (41) may be configured to control the retaining means (10-1) to release the movable footplate (7-1) if an applied force is greater than a release force threshold (FT1). The processor (41) may be configured to adjust the release force threshold (FT1). The present disclosure also relates to a control unit (40) for controlling a releasable footplate assembly (6-1); and a gait training apparatus (1) comprising at least one releasable footplate assembly (6-1).

摘要： A method of controlling an exoskeleton device of a user performs fall mitigation operations. The control method may be performed by executing program code stored on a non-transitory computer readable medium. The exoskeleton device may be a powered legged mobility device including a plurality of drive components that drive joint components including at least knee joint components and hip joint components. The control method includes detecting a fall state including a direction and an extent of a fall; classifying the fall state based on the direction and the extent of the fall; and controlling the drive components of the exoskeleton device to selectively modulate one or more joint components in accordance with the fall classification to perform a fall mitigation operation. The control method further may include controlling the drive components to perform a recovery operation to aid the user in returning to standing position after the fall.

摘要： An assistive gait device comprising a motorized exoskeleton configured to be coupled to a person and independently move each leg of the person. The device also comprises a first motorized stabilizer provided on the left side of the person and a second motorized stabilizer provided on the right side of the person, wherein the two stabilizers are connected to the exoskeleton and each of the two stabilizers is moved independently relative to the exoskeleton and is able to selectively contact the ground. A controller and sensory system is also provided, that comprises an input device and is configured to coordinate and actuate independent movement of the exoskeleton and the two stabilizers, thus automatically effecting a walking movement of the person. In a preferred embodiment, movement is effected by forward movement of the two stabilizers, followed by walking sequence of the motorized exoskeleton, which is initiated by the person activating the input device.
