    • Embodiments of this invention provide for an apparatus for treating an aneurysm in a vessel. The apparatus includes an insertion member adapted to be inserted into a lumen of the vessel. A first electrode device is coupled to the insertion member and applies electrical energy to an interior surface of the vessel to shrink the aneurysm at an interior surface that is part of a surface that circumscribes a cross section of the vessel. The electrode can be positioned at the end of an arm extending radially from the insertion member having the possibility of rotating around and being displaces along the longitudinal axis of the insertion member. The electrode can consist of a plurality of electrodes placed on the outer surface of an elastic inflatable balloon, having inside another inelastic inflatable balloon. The device makes use of thermocouples, pressure sensors and electrolyte.

    • A system and method for making an improved mandibular repositioning device includes a pair of tooth fixation element premolds, a pressure molding cap and at least one adjustment mechanism. The premolds include resin and reinforcing material within a flexible envelope. The pressure molding cap includes a rigid shell and an inflatable bladder. The tooth fixation element premold is placed on the patient's teeth. The pressure molding cap is placed over the premold and the bladder is filled. The pressure of the bladder forms the premold to the patient's teeth. The pressure is released once the resin is set and the formed tooth fixation element may be removed from the patient's teeth. After a tooth fixation element is created for both the top and bottom sets of teeth an attachment mechanism is coupled to both tooth fixation elements to adjustably couple the tooth fixation elements to each other.

    • A tissue ablation apparatus includes a delivery catheter with distal and proximal ends. A handle is attached to the proximal end of the delivery catheter. At least partially positioned in the delivery catheter is an electrode deployment device. The electrode deployment device includes a plurality of retractable electrodes. Each electrode has a non-deployed state when it is positioned in the delivery catheter. Additionally, each electrode has a distended deployed state when it is advanced out of the delivery catheter distal end. The deployed electrodes define an ablation volume. Each deployed electrode has a first section with a first radius of curvature. The first section is located near the distal end of the delivery catheter. A second section of the deployed electrode extends beyond the first section, and has a second radius of curvature, or a substantially linear geometry.
