For example, a particular method may include growing an amount of cyanotic organisms, separating cell walls of the cyanotic organisms from internal portions of the cyanotic organisms to form a purified algae extract, the purified algae extract being from the internal portions of the cyanotic organisms, and applying an effective amount of alkaline water to the purified algae extract to form a balanced algae extract having little or no chemical reactivity, wherein a pH of the alkaline water is a function of a pH of the purified algae extract.

摘要： The present invention provides a two component geopolymer composition of wherein one component comprises a dry mix of an aluminosilicate, such as flyash, geopolymer precursor and one or more epoxy multilayer polymer particle redispersible polymer powder (RDP) having an epoxy resin core and an alkali soluble polymer shell, the epoxy resin having a calculated glass transition temperature (Tg) of from 7 to 45° C., and, wherein the other component, comprises one or more alkaline silicate geopolymer precursor, preferably in the form of an aqueous solution. The two-component compositions having from 1 to 20 wt. % of the RDP, based on solids, and provide greater formulation flexibility to make geopolymer compositions having improved tensile strength.

摘要： A photocatalyst dispersion liquid contains titanium oxide particles, tungsten oxide particles, a phosphoric acid (salt) and a dispersion medium, and a containing amount of the phosphoric acid (salt) is from 0.001 mol times to 0.2 mol times with respect to the titanium oxide particles. In this photocatalyst dispersion liquid, the aggregation of the particles is suppressed and thus solid-liquid separation is not easily generated. According to this process for producing a photocatalyst dispersion liquid, titanium oxide particles are dispersed in a dispersion medium containing a phosphoric acid (salt) dissolved therein to obtain a titanium oxide particle dispersion liquid, and then tungsten oxide particles are mixed in the titanium oxide particle dispersion liquid.

摘要： A method for manufacturing containers for growing plants, comprising an initial step of reducing plastics and fired clay to granules and a final step of releasing the containers from molds. The method includes, in order of sequence, the intermediate steps of preparing a mixture of the granules, introducing the mixture into the molds, heating the mixture until the melting temperature of the material is approximately reached, holding the mixture at that temperature, and cooling the mixture. A container produced with the method includes uniformly distributed fired clay granules and reticular formations of plastics that mutually bind the granules. The invention overcomes the drawbacks of the prior art, by providing containers that combine the best characteristics of earthenware and plastic containers, respectively.

The decorative component of the aggregate material is specifically limited to a hard aggregate of enhanced aesthetic appeal, specifically, to granules of quartz or other transparent or semi-transparent material having a Mohs index of at least 7, naturally occurring or synthetic. The granules of quartz are adjustably coated with a metallic, ceramic, plastic or other film, mixed with a binder, cast, and cured. In the surface finishing step, granules close to the surface are ground to create an exposed facet through which light passes in and out, the coating providing reflective properties that add color, sparkle, glitter, metallic or other visual effect to the hard composite stone surface without compromising the hardness and durability of the product.

摘要： Compositions, methods, and systems for manufacturing articles, particularlycontainers and packaging materials, having a particle packed, highly inorganically filled, cellular matrix are disclosed. Suitable inorganically filled mixtures are prepared by mixing together a starch-based binder, a solvent, inorganic aggregates, and optimal admixtures, e.g., fibers, mold-releasing agents, rheology-modifying agents, plasticizers, coating materials, and dispersants, in the correct proportions to form an article which has the desired performance criteria. The inorganically filled mixtures have a predetermined viscosity and are heated between molds at an elevated temperature and pressure to produce form-stable articles having a desired shape and a selectively controlled cellular, structural matrix. The molded articles may be placed in a high humidity chamber to obtain the necessary flexibility for their intended use. The articles may be manufactured to have properties substantially similar to articles presently made from conventional materials like paper, paperboard, polystyrene, plastic, or other organic materials. They have especial utility in the mass-production of containers, particularly food and beverage containers.

摘要： Compositions, methods, and systems for manufacturing articles, particularly containers and packaging materials, having a particle packed, highly inorganically filled, cellular matrix are disclosed. Suitable inorganically filled mixtures are prepared by mixing together a starch-based binder, a solvent, inorganic aggregates, and optimal admixtures, e.g., fibers, mold-releasing agents, rheology-modifying agents, plasticizers, coating materials, and dispersants, in the correct proportions to form an article which has the desired performance criteria. The inorganically filled mixtures have a predetermined viscosity and are heated between molds at an elevated temperature and pressure to produce form-stable articles having a desired shape and a selectively controlled cellular, structure matrix. The molded articles may be placed in a high humidity chamber to obtain the necessary flexibility for their intended use. The articles may be manufactured to have properties substantially similar to articles presently made from conventional materials like paper, paperboard, polystyrene, plastic, or other organic materials. They have especial utility in the mass-production of containers, particularly food and beverage containers.

摘要： Compositions, methods, and systems for manufacturing articles, particularly containers and packaging materials, having a highly inorganically filled matrix. Suitable inorganically filled mixtures are prepared by mixing together an organic polymer binder, water, one or more aggregate materials, fibers, and optional admixtures in the correct proportions in order to form an article which has the desired performance criteria. The inorganically filled mixtures are molded to fashion a portion of the mixture into a form stable shape for the desired article. Once the article has obtained form stability, the article is removed from the mold and allowed to harden to gain strength. The articles may have properties substantially similar to articles presently made from traditional materials like paper, paperboard, polystyrene, plastic, or metal. They have especial utility in the mass production of containers, particularly food and beverage containers.
