摘要： Containerized goods are packaged for transit using a partial or fully circumferential wrapper about which a tensioned-strap is secured, to form an integrated structural package that facilities rapid loading of a machine magazine or picking platform such as a shelf with pre-oriented articles as well as shipping the units palletized in several tiers for distribution and display. The wrapper may be of sheet wood-fiber origin or other materials, the open wrapper ends permitting clear display of the goods labels. D-cuts into the wrapper provide displaceable tabs, for locating and/or separating the adjoining containers, and further integrating the wrapper with its contents, when strapped to form transit packages, able to withstand the rigors of palletized transit.

摘要： A spherical food storage container with a lid for adding foods, or for extracting food is provided. The spherical food storage container can be stored as two or more pieces that may be assembled to form a spherical container for holding food, while providing a lid in a portion of one of the hemispheres for the addition of a food, or for extraction of the food. The container and the portions of the container are made of food grade plastic that is dishwasher safe. The food storage container is made from paper, cardboard, poly-vinyl chloride (PVC), plastic, ceramic, metal, wood, fiber glass, a glass reinforced plastic, or combinations thereof. In at least one embodiment, the container and the portions of the container are made of food grade plastic that is dishwasher safe.

摘要： The present invention relates to a one-piece food container with an integral hinge and one or more latching mechanism, a full perimeter seal, and ribbed or ridged support structures. The food container is fabricated from hybrid bio-based and polymeric a material that has heat resistance capabilities. In particular, the present apparatus and method utilize a hybrid slurry of simple, abundant and renewable materials, such as food or plant starch and calcium carbonate (limestone), and a polymeric material, that uses high temperature and high pressure presses. An optional coating, such as wax, is applied to the surface of the food container. The present invention one-piece food container has a plurality of ridges that are incorporated into the container to provide rigidity and resisting folding or bending. Lastly, the one-piece food container with has enough rigidity and strength to be stackable for efficient storage for distribution to a user. The resulting one-piece food container is strong, light, heat-resistant, and attractive.

摘要： An improved shock absorbing insulated shipping container including an external corrugated cardboard box, receiving a product box therein. Peripheral spaced, and upper and lower spaced between the external box and the product box receive insulating pellets, which are maintained under a compressive force in order to interlock these insulating pellets and prevent their migration during transit of the shipping container. By preventing migration of the insulating pellets, the formation of a void (or voids) in the insulation of the container is prevented, and the formation of a hot spot (or hot spots) within the container which could degrade or damage the product in transit is prevented. A most preferred embodiment utilized insulating pellets made of puffed vegetable starch, so that substantially the entire container can be recycled, is biodegradable, or can be composted.
