    • PURPOSE: A method for controlling release of a damper clutch is provided to reduce shifting impact by controlling duty through releasing a damper clutch. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling release of a damper clutch comprises a throttle position sensor(110) detecting opening amount of a throttle valve; a spots mode sensing unit(120) detecting sports mode of a shift lever; a shifting signal detecting unit(130) generating a shifting signal of up or down shift; a damper clutch(140) controlling power transferring state of an engine and a transmission by being mounted on a torque converter; and a transmission controlling unit(150) controlling the damper clutch by receiving data. The throttle amount is large in turning on power. Thereby, the system for controlling release of the damper clutch reduces shifting impact by controlling duty through releasing the damper clutch.
