    • PURPOSE: A light source device for WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) optical communication is provided to implement a wavelength locking system insensible to changes by using two FP-LDs(Fabry-Perot Laser Diodes) having different mode intervals, thereby making an excellent WDM light source. CONSTITUTION: The first FP-LD(400) generates a multiple mode laser light source. An optical filter(404) filters a beam generated from the first FP-LD(400), and outputs a wideband incoherent laser beam. The second FP-LD(402) is inserted into the first FP-LD(400). An optical circulator(406) inserts a laser beam generated from the second FP-LD(402) into the first FP-LD(400) through the optical filter(404). The first FP-LD(400) is inserted with FP laser beams having different mode intervals through the optical circulator(406).

    • PURPOSE: An optical oscillator is provided to obtain an optical element required for a high speed optical communication system and improve the variability of a broadband wireless communication system. CONSTITUTION: An optical oscillator includes a laser driving source(11) outputting a predetermined electric signal, a master laser(12) driven by the electric signal for generating and outputting a first frequency optical signal, an optical circulator(15) having three terminals and outputting the optical signal input from the master laser through the first terminal to the second terminal and outputting light input from the second terminal to the third terminal, and a slave laser(13) driven by the electric signal for generating a second frequency signal and mixing the optical signal input from the second terminal of the optical circulator with the second frequency signal and outputting the generated optical signal through the mix to the second terminal.

    • 본발명은파장분할다중방식광통신용광원에관한것으로, 특히외부에서주입되는비간섭성광에파장잠김된페브리-페롯레이저다이오드를이용한파장분할다중방식광통신용광원에관한것이다. 본발명에따른광원은단향관이없는페브리-페롯레이저다이오드에좁은대역의비간섭성광을주입하여구현된다. 문턱전류이상의전류가인가된페브리-페롯레이저다이오드에좁은대역의비간섭성광을외부에서주입하면여러발진모드들중 주입되는비간섭성광의파장과일치하지않는모드들은억제되고, 페브리-페롯레이저다이오드의출력은주입된비간섭성광과동일한파장에고정된다. 또, 비간섭성광의주입을통해출력파장이고정된페브리-페롯레이저의인가전류를직접변조함으로써정보를실은광신호를생성한다. 하나의비간섭성광원의출력을도파로격자라우터를통해스펙트럼분할한후, 스펙트럼분할된비간섭성광을다수의페브리-페롯레이저다이오드들에동시에주입하므로써파장분할다중화된다수의광신호를경제적으로생성할수 있다. 이때, 각페브리-페롯레이저다이오드의출력파장은라우터의통과대역을조절하여손쉽게제어할수 있다. 이러한특성으로인해본 발명의광원은출력파워가비교적크고, 경제성이우수하며, 파장제어가용이한장점이있다.
