    • A thermometer system and method that rapidly predict body temperature based on the temperature signals received from a temperature sensing probe when it comes into contact with the body. A nonlinear, multi-parameter curve fitting process is performed and depending on the errors in the curve fit, parameters are changed or a prediction of the temperature is made. Criteria exist for the differences between the curve fit and the temperature data. The processor switches to a Continuous Monitor State if the curve fit over a limited number of time frames is unacceptable. Determining the start time on which the measurement time frame for prediction is based is performed by tissue contact threshold coupled with a prediction time delay.

    • The present invention provides a temperature detecting apparatus capable of preventing a thermocouple bare wire from being cut and a position of a thermocouple junction part from being dislocated due to temporal variation. The temperature detecting apparatus includes: an insulation pipe which is extended in the vertical direction and includes a vertical through hole; a thermocouple bare wire which includes a thermocouple junction part installed on the top end thereof, is inserted and passes through the through hole of the insulation pipe, and changes a direction of a vertical part protruding from the bottom end of the insulation pipe into the horizontal direction; and a buffer region which is a space formed at the lower side of the insulation pipe to suppress the restraint of the thermal expansion of the thermocouple bare wire protruding from the bottom end of the insulation pipe. The temperature detecting apparatus includes an insulation pipe stopper, which is a temperature processing device including a supported part supported on the top end of the insulation pipe at the thermocouple bare wire between the top surface of the insulation pipe and the thermocouple junction part and supports the bottom end of the insulation pipe. The thermocouple bare wire passes through the vertical through hole formed at the insulation pipe stopper.

    • PURPOSE: A thermocouple with two tabs spaced along a transverse axis and a method for deciding a temperature of a part of an electrical conductive substrate are provided to accurately decode a temperature by a drift thermocouple when excessive EFF noise is diminished and to diminish changes caused by signal noise. CONSTITUTION: A method for deciding a temperature of a part of an electrical conductive substrate(207) is like next. A thermocouple comprising a first thermoelectric element(303) and second thermoelectric element(307) is provided. The first thermoelectric element is formed from a first thermoelectric material and comprises a first apical portion(303a) and a first distal portion(303b). The second thermoelectric element is formed from a second thermoelectric material and comprises a second apical portion(307a) and a second distal portion(307b). Each apical portion of first and second thermoelectric elements is respectively connected to a part of an electrical conductivity substrate so that a thermocouple circuit is formed. An electric current flows through electrical conductivity substrate so that the electrical conductivity substrate is heated.
